Legal
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-04
Please note: this Cookie Policy is a draft prepared ahead of formal legal review. It reflects Taleef Technologies’ current, actual use of cookies as accurately as possible, but has not yet been confirmed by legal counsel.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, can be used for the same purposes. We use cookies and local storage on taleeftech.com to make the Site work properly and understand how it’s used.
Categories of cookies we use
Essential cookies These are necessary for the Site to function: for example, remembering basic preferences as you navigate between pages, remembering your cookie consent choice, or supporting core security features. The Site would not work properly without them.
TaleefAIBot (our website chat widget) TaleefAIBot does not currently set its own cookies or use browser local storage. Your conversation is held only in your browser’s memory for the current page view. If you refresh the page or navigate away, your chat history is not retained. If this changes in a future version of TaleefAIBot, we will update this policy and, where the new storage isn’t strictly necessary to run a chat you’ve actively started, ask for your consent before it’s set.
Analytics cookies We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4) delivered via Google Tag Manager (GTM), to understand how visitors use the Site: for example, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived at the Site, and general usage patterns. This helps us improve the Site’s content and performance. These tools may set cookies that collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and browsing behaviour on the Site.
We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies (such as ad-retargeting pixels) on taleeftech.com. If that changes, for example, if we deploy advertising pixels or retargeting technology, we will update this Cookie Policy and our consent banner before doing so.
About consent
If you’re visiting from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, a consent banner appears before analytics cookies are set, and analytics storage defaults to denied until you actively accept it. You can accept, reject, or change your choice for analytics cookies at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the site footer; your choice is remembered for future visits, and rejecting it doesn’t affect how the rest of the Site works.
For visitors outside the UK/EEA, analytics may be enabled as soon as you visit the Site, without a prior consent prompt. You can disable analytics at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the Site footer, in addition to controlling cookies through your browser settings as described below. Your updated choice applies to future analytics activity on the Site.
Third-party and embedded content
Some pages on the Site may embed third-party content (for example, map embeds or video players). These embedded services may use their own cookies or similar technologies. We select and configure the services we embed with reasonable care, but their own, independent data processing is governed by their own privacy and cookie information, not this policy.
How to control cookies
Most browsers let you view, manage, block, or delete cookies through their settings. You can generally:
- View which cookies are stored on your device.
- Block cookies from being set (by any site, or by specific sites).
- Delete existing cookies.
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set.
Because browser settings differ, check your specific browser’s help documentation for exact steps. Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working properly, and we are not responsible for any reduced functionality that results from your own browser or device settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our use of cookies and similar technologies changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
